Some Pembroke Welsh corgi puppies from Corgis de San Juan since 2002.

At Corgis de San Juan, we adhere faithfully to the breed standard of Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh corgis. When we rarely breed, we do so thoughtfully to produce corgis worthy of representing each of the recognized breeds. We breed as a hobby and part of the cynology sport, and not as a production business. We are not a commercial breeder of corgis. We carefully plan our crosses, keeping in mind the improvement of each specific breed and championship line. We do not breed to supply the rising demand for corgis as a popular breed. Thus, we do not have puppies available all the time.

When we reproduce corgis, the proposed parents have competed for their titles in cynology. After choosing the pick of the litter, we make the rest of the progeny available to families who love dogs and particularly these breeds, and to families that can provide a loving and healthy home for our puppies.

The corgi puppies born at Corgis de San Juan are either from the Pembroke or the Cardigan breed. You will never get a mix between the two breeds; our puppies are either a Pembroke or a Cardigan corgi. We do not support the breeding of “American” corgis (mix between Pembroke and Cardigan), as well as we do not support the breeding of other designer breeds. The parents of our corgis will be purebred, healthy, and genetically tested, as we look for health, temperament, and conformation to the standard.

We screen future families and available puppies for a perfect match. The new families of our puppies become part of our extended family. Being part of our extended family means that we will always be available to answer questions, guide you and help you have a great pet/owner experience. We cannot guarantee to have specific sex or color of your liking available. All puppies are registered with the AKC, and placed with families under a written contract after 8-10 weeks of age with their current vaccinations, deworming, and microchip. Pet-quality puppies must be spayed or neutered, and its AKC registration is limited.

Our litters have a long waiting list. To be included in the waiting list, you must fill out a puppy application or questionnaire and send it completely answered to our email address.

Upon evaluation of your questionnaire, we will be in a position, to offer you to become part of our waiting list for a puppy when it becomes available. Once the puppies reach over a month of age, we will contact the people on the list in the order they were included. If you are called at that time, to reserve the puppy, you will need to provide a 25% non-refundable deposit.
